After completing his military service, Terrell returned home to Glendale, California, where he began a new mission: helping fellow veterans successfully transition to civilian careers. He started this journey working as a Veteran Representative with the California Employment Development Department (EDD), guiding veterans through employment resources, benefits, and job placements.
From there, Terrell expanded his impact by serving veterans through the Veterans Administration, where he worked as a Veteran Counselor and Job Placement Coordinator — providing direct support in career planning, job readiness, and workforce integration. His experience on the front lines of veteran employment services gave him unique insight into systemic barriers and real needs facing job-seekers after service.
Terrell’s commitment to service goes beyond his professional life. He is a dedicated father of three and an active music creator, blending storytelling and artistic expression with his passion for community impact. Whether performing, mentoring, or speaking, Terrell channels the same energy he brought to the Marines into every part of his life.
